Outreach Programs

This (transition part of program) focuses on providing counseling, goal setting, clothing, transportation, money management, credit establishment and/or restoration, health care, establishing a strong support system and referrals or assistance in locating suitable shelters for ex-offenders, veterans, the elderly, the homeless and the people that exemplify a need

Crisis Intervention Program

This program consists of monthly three-day workshops to provide preventive and rehabilitative training and/or instruction to individuals that use or abuse drugs and alcohol. We will also conduct educational seminars addressing - prevention and rehabilitation for HIV/AIDS/STD, relapse, domestic violence, anger, self-esteem, confidence, and various mental illness.

Job Training Program

This program is to provide instructions for people who exemplify a need in areas ranging from - communication, resume writing to interviewing. Also have classes to provide individuals within the community with the skills necessary to obtain employment. We will partnership with local and state agencies to support the growth and enhancement of community development.

About Us

NEW OPTIONS DEVELOPMENT CENTER, INC is a nonprofit 501c(3) founded in 2007 to support disconnected youth and vulnerable individuals in Edenton North Carolina and has been in Houston Texas since 2020.we also have a partnership in Uganda Africa that assist vulnerable street kids, orphans and Widows that are in need of support.

We believe youth belong in schools, not prisons. Build their future with us. NODC is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit based in Houston, Texas. Your support is 100% tax-deductible. Our secure online donation system will accept donations in any amount. REFER A CANDIDATE Refer a Candidate. NODC typically serves young men and women between ages 10 to 22 who experience behavior problems at home, school, community, have been in juvenile detention and/or alternative school, struggle with additions, we also assist older individuals that are currently unemployed, dealing with legal issues, and are interested in obtaining a GED and vocational certification or Home School Diploma.
